The New ABB SM500F is a field-mountable videographic recorder. Its unique enclosure design enables wall, pipe, or panel mounting of the unit. Process data is displayed clearly to the local operator through a variety of display formats, including chart, bar graph, and digital indicator displays. Additionally, process data is logged securely to the removable SD memory card.
The SM500F can record up to 4 universal inputs plus another 3 analog inputs along with another 4 software inputs. It also has plenty of  alarms included and options such as relays, totalizers, math, transmitter supplies, Ethernet , RS485 Modbus and batch recording. The Ethernet option provides plant communication and remote monitoring while the embedded web server allows you to receive email reports and critical process alarm information.
The SM500F is available with either a color or monochrome display. With it’s Windows-style menus, it’s easy to set up and operate without even using the manual.
