Interchangeable process connections
-variable connection design guarantees easy meter installation and the
instrument can easily be interchanged should service ever be required.

NEMA 6 stainless steel enclosure -eliminates
the problem of rust or paint flakes peeling off and contamination of the
process during CIP cleaning of the flow meter.

Conforms to 3A and FDA requirements
–designed according to 3A guidelines and uses only FDA-approved material.
¨ Standard
food gaskets –
there
are no internal gaskets in the meter body. Standard food gaskets are used
for process line connections. This makes the routine change out of gaskets
simple and easy.
¨ Replacing
the transmitter is as easy as changing a light bulb
–
no rewiring or
programming is required. The EEPROM will automatically reprogram the
flowmeter with all the previous settings contained in its memory.

The
ABB FXE4000
series is the latest in magnetic flowmeter
technology providing a great deal of flexibility to the users in the
sanitary market. There are two different models offered, the
MAG-XE DE21
with remote converter and the
COPA_XE DE23
with an integral converter and aluminum or
all stainless steel housing with 2 line display. Flow tube sizes are
available from as small as 1/10” up to as large as a 4” tube with
interchangeable connections from Tri clamps to weld stubs or sanitary
threaded connections. The variable process connections provide flexibility
during installation, reduce inventory unit requirements, and lower
replacement costs. The “Fit & Flow” external memory makes setup of
replacement units fast and easy without requiring recalibration of the unit.
All that, along with the latest in digital communication options, provide a
complete and cost effective solution for the end user. With a stainless
steel exterior, the flexibility of the variable process connection and the
state-of-the art transmitter with digital communication options, this
electromagnetic flowmeter is a valuable addition to ABB’s comprehensive line
of flow measurement products. The unit is well-suited for a multitude of
applications. From food & beverage over pharmaceutical to chemical and
